Dial 16658. 24hr support.
The 24-Hour Toll-Free Helpline is one of BOFWA’s most impactful interventions, designed to address the pressing need for accessible, confidential, and non-judgmental support for young people and vulnerable individuals across Botswana. Recognizing the barriers many face in seeking help—whether due to stigma, geographic limitations, or lack of immediate access to services—BOFWA launched this helpline as a critical resource.
Operating nationally — the helpline serves as a lifeline for individuals dealing with a wide range of challenges, including sexual and reproductive health (SRHR) concerns, Gender-Based Violence (GBV), mental health struggles, and general emotional distress. Trained professionals who provide immediate assistance, counselling, staff it and referrals when necessary, ensuring callers receive the care and support they need.
